Lacking a close permanent personal relationship, I have taken that need out in my shoes... And there does not seem to be an end in sight... (smile)

As you can see, my shoes are well taken care, kinda, but each one is boxed - and soon to be photographed and labeled...



In Sex in the City - The Movie; I knew it was love for Mr. Big, when I saw Carrie shoe closet. I cried (really I did...). Who could have that much understanding for what is important to someone... - - - And as he proved (I don't care if he came back or not...)...

I have heard. That this is my problem - I personally like to call it an issue! - but my shoes - say strong, independent, capable woman... (smile) - and I am good with that... So, very, very good - with that....

As you can - or if you Noticed - or why haven't you noticed, the blog has changed format. It seems that MY Friend "T3" or "T6", something like that! Thought it would be a 'great' idea to tell me about my blog... Now I am not the sensitive type (much) - but this turned out to be an excellent conversation... One in which, I could not wait to get home and start working on the changes...

And Dang-it! if Fumbling Thru The Pieces, isn't enough... - someone telling you about your pieces is... - BUT, it does look good! Better! (I was going to get around to it sooner or later!) - so, this 'Re-Model" - took all of my Blog Energy - I am on my way for food... and some rest...

I have had the idea - that it would be great, if I could get all of the people involved, to share a bit about themselves and the creation of this wonderful - Fumbling Thru The Pieces.... 
in a questions and answer type format. Lets see how it works...
- and you let me know what you think... (wink)

Q: How did you get involved in Soaps? - Julie A. Smith

A: After the recent cancellation of our beloved soaps, Ava and I were talking about the history of soaps and as a avid One Life to Live fan of 29 years, my heart is broken. I remember when I first fell in love with OLTL. It was summer break and flipping through the channels, I stumbled across this wonderful show. This beautiful woman sauntered in like Betty Davis and the voice that resonated to my senses....I was hooked!

Summer break was almost over and I had to head back to school.  I thought to myself - Oh no, I'll be missing my story. I had been saving my babysitting money and decided I must go buy a VCR, and that I did. I bought one of those VCR's that had the pop-up top, remember it was many years ago!! Thus my love affair with OLTL began.

Throughout the years, falling in love with all these amazing characters that have graced the canvas that  made OLTL. Just to name a few - Asa, the tough exterior with the soft interior, and the tears later as we lost our beloved Phil Carey. What can you say about Vicki/Nikki/Jean/Tommy the matriarch of OLTL as she just celebrated her 40 years on OLTL seems somehow so bitter sweet now. Then there's the love affair that we have with Bo and Nora. The lovely Hillary B. Smith and her portrayal of Nora -  the quick-witted attorney who blows into town and take up residence in our hearts. I miss Wanda, Ed ,RJ, Hank, Karen, Larry, Herb, Tina, Max, Luna, Lindsay and so many more.

The story lines have always been ahead of the times - tackling tough subjects that many would sidestep and  avoid. This is the reason I love this show and always will! I'll be attending the rally on the 26th in Burbank and hope to see you there too.

Ava: Fumbling Thru The Pieces of - Can u Draw a Picture!

Hi!!!! (smile)

Hey!!! It starts!!!
If you notice that my blogs are getting shorter and shorter this week - "help a sister out and comment..." ( smile ) - and some of the blogs this week probably will be shorter... (smile)

I have my iApple product with me most of the time and can jot down some notes as I go... But when things come rushing in - constantly ( and this not a measure of pleasant or unpleasant ) - as I anticipate they will this week - it seem, for me - so much harder to keep focus...

As much as do not like to admit this - "it feels as if my heart is overwhelmed"...  A typical Ava response to a statement like this would be "huh! Can you draw a picture of this? If I cut you open, what would I see happening to your heart?" - and I feel like you would see my heart beating just a bit faster, you would see my blood going in a bit darker and coming out a bit lighter in color... And you would know that everything is just a bit more special and important.

I loose higher brain functions, and crave the "night warmth of security". I bubble and boil - hot and cold - in my feelings and the feelings of others - i save the feelings that have not yet been processed, and as they wait, stacked, they seem to weight down - but I won't let one get pass me. I get forgetful, and careless; and these would definitely be ' -er '. Oh! And I stop sleeping rest-fully, hence the warmth thing... Okay, okay...

Days later - i have noticed with things like this - I come out on the other end - more alive, more understanding of the whats and hows of nothing in particular... And Fumbling Thru The Pieces - my walls come back up!, but maybe - some day... ... ....

Ava: Fumbling Thru The Pieces of - A full week!

Hi!!!! (smile)

Okay, this pending week is looking like a massive week! Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday - booked into a seminars... Thursday - release of Episode 7 - smile, Friday - dinner with a friend... Saturday - Life Celebration Service... And none of these are optional attendance, and I could add more before I am done.

The only good thing is that I will get to buy at least 2 new dresses... It's not that I shop a lot, but I like to look great when I'm out. I am a citizen, so, that means that a $20-40 usd dress is 'pig heaven' - and if I can find one for less, even better!... (smile)

The hardest day is going to be the "Life Celebration Service", on Saturday. This lady, and truly she was a lady... I only knew for a couple of years... And I can't describe - how she made me feel. I would go to the church, and seek her out - for some luv - she was bright, docile, great natured... And always helpful and smiling...

She had been complaining for a month or two, about this and that... Nothing that seemed - tragic! And last month she was diagnosed with cancer... The details are beyond me - it became a private matter at that point, and with in weeks she had passed to the other side... (more motivation to quit smoking, for me..)

Okay, it was day 9 - we were tired, stressed, and so close to the end - to Success - (smile) - So, I got all of the 'Homies' on the set together and had a Crafts Session - and we made "Shanks" - we were getting out of there one way or the other... ABOUT THE FUND...
The Willie-Coppee Fund is a joint charitable endeavor between Emmy award-winning actress Hillary B. Smith and her good friend, television writer and multiple-best-selling author Lindsay Harrison, and services clients of the CA-based Sherman Oaks Veterinary Group. The fund was established several years ago to honor the memory of their beloved dogs, Willie (Lindsay's Bichon Frise) and Coppee (Hillary's Golden Retriever), and serves to discreetly assist pet owners who may be struggling with overwhelming veterinary bills. Endowments that assist pet owners are incredibly important in today's challenged economy, as countless individuals are unable to provide routine care and medically necessary services for their furry friends.

Okay - have been working on a couple of side projects - and that does not include City Permits for Flying Monkeys!. I can say that - There is something in the works for the Los Angeles, California, (who knows - there may be another...) area - in mid-May 2011... As I now know they say "The Devil is in the Details!" (I always thought the saying was "The Devil is in Ava..." - another story for another time) - Anyway - I am looking to announce this next week, and at the very least a better update... (smile)
