We Gutted the house each day, when we arrived and then each night put everything back - and that was for 5 days straight... Lighting, Cables, finding good power for everything, food, shelter from the rain - and the most asked for commodity - "QUIET!!!"

ABOUT THE FUND...

The Willie-Coppee Fund is a joint charitable endeavor between Emmy award-winning actress Hillary B. Smith and her good friend, television writer and multiple-best-selling author Lindsay Harrison, and services clients of the CA-based Sherman Oaks Veterinary Group. The fund was established several years ago to honor the memory of their beloved dogs, Willie (Lindsay's Bichon Frise) and Coppee (Hillary's Golden Retriever), and serves to discreetly assist pet owners who may be struggling with overwhelming veterinary bills. Endowments that assist pet owners are incredibly important in today's challenged economy, as countless individuals are unable to provide routine care and medically necessary services for their furry friends.

Ava: Fumbling Thru The Pieces of - 25 Word Stories

Hi!!!! (smile)

So, I was on my way home from work - when I am not Tracking something - I listen to NPR, on the radio. One day, they had a feature on "25 Word Stories" -  'Hint Fiction' Celebrates The (Extremely) Short Story - and I was very moved... Not just in the writing - that was read on the radio (but I was) - but the challenge of being able to do this myself....

I posted some of these on Facebook a while back... 

but here we go!

#2) Handwritten scraps of jigsaw taped papers lay in the binder, on his gray suited chest... 'My Legacy: Human Existence' - and the coffin lid closed slowly... (25)


#3) After transcribing the message from G-d, neatly; over the last three sleep-less days. He reaches for the revolver. Another voice queries " who is that for? " (25)

#4) The blue automobile, cut her off so quickly - that the only reaction was fear. As it accelerated, a delicate arm popped out the window. (24)

#5) Hold me, dear love, for I wonder, towards you - aimless and un-whole. In faith, of what has always been true... And yet again, another crossroads... (26)

#6) he had forgotten the quarter he need to keep the bullies from beating his friend, he forgot, his key, and lunch, his books and homework, and that the dog was still tied up... and he forgot that he forgot! (39)

(#7) I've been to low places, by the arrows of others fears. Laying, wounded; I see the feathers of the fletchings and my spirit soars; again!... (25)

(#8) Breaking-up is devastating her being. "You are loved or not loved - because of your love..." - the sigh, sent another pill to the floor... (23)

Just a try (smile) 

- Now, the 6 Word stories - that was really a challenge - 

If I find those... I'll Share...

I wonder if I could write anything with less the 25 punctuation marks... 

(Nah!!!)
