Ava: Fumbling Thru The Pieces of 
- Television Viewing

Okay, it must be said "I do not watch television!"
- I know it's freaky, but it is just the way that I choose to live my life...

At some point a couple of years ago,
I came home and I became aware of my relationship with the television.
It was a Friday, and I got home from work and put on the television...
And it stayed on all weekend...

I would be cleaning or cooking and the television was on.
I would go out and meet friends, grocery shop
and the television would be waiting when I walked in the door...
I noticed that it even generates heat, so it made the apartment bit more coiser...
- sorry, but that just made me feel sick...

I would sit down in front of the television
and have dinner and sometimes, never move again...
"how can that be good"
- I would rush home, leaving a human, to watch a television program...
Just crazy...
So, that weekend - I gave it up!

Now, I am not a great reader!
Oh, I read fine, I just like to read everything
- newspapers would be the best example...
It has a bit of everything in it...
It's quick and to the point (not like my blog, at all!(smile))
and it is thought-filled...
Meaning, one can walk away with new thoughts
or perspectives that one did not have before.
I am not saying that television does not do that,
I am saying that television is not the only way to do that...

Now, books - I have issues with...
This ridged, numbering structure that they follow
- is just "not my cup of tea"...
Take a book of fiction - pick a page,
read through it until I find a reason not to...
I have jumped all over through a book,
until it became the time to read if from the beginning,
or not - then I am done with it!
It's just the non conformist in me...

- so, I find other things to do... (smile)

I am sure some of you are asking
" Ava, so how do you end up working on a web series?
Isn't that televising? "
( yes! It is! And it's not for the sake of television
- it's for my friend...)
So, it's okay!

So, when I am fumbling thru the pieces of my television viewing habit
- it does not matter in the slightest -
it's the friendships,
I have made inspite of the television,
that are important...
